@messybeckie @Dr_Done_ @gmcuk Yes, I have been treated by PA and can not fault the care I received. They're actually medically trained, which is why people like you are threatened by their presence and, hence, spreading toxic lies and scaremongering to try and get rid of them.

Yesterday, I attended the ‘Dining for Dignity’ event with @brumshospice.
I heard inspiring stories shared by patients, their families and hospice staff about the exceptional palliative and end-of-life care provided by hospice's.
Truly heart-warming and commendable work!

Hospices, such as @jthospice in Erdington, provide vital care to hundreds of thousands of people every year. Sadly, they face serious financial challenges.
As a nurse, it breaks my heart to see our NHS in the worst state it has ever been.

At the @CommonsHealth topical session, I asked the CEO of @hospiceuk what more can be done to help fund hospices in poorer areas.
Hospices provide invaluable care to terminally ill patients & they often struggle to raise the necessary funds to continue their compassionate work.
