MCP vs A2A 🤖⏳ MCP, is an open standard that lets AI systems connect to external data sources, tools, and workflows through a consistent interface. A2A, focuses on how multiple AI agents talk to each other.

I was recently reminded that back in January when I was laid off, I had people reach out to me and offer to spread my resume around. I declined because of the particular application strategy I was employing at the time (talked about this on @tdesseyn's podcast). I share this because in all honesty, too many of you struggling on the job hunt either a. have no strategy or b. deviate form multiple strategies which is just as poor a choice. I'm not saying there's no occassions for pivoting, there always are. But how do you know when to pivot? Winners aren't wishy washy. If you're headlong into a particular job acquisition strategy and "feel" like it's not working, that feeling needs to be verified by some framework to tell you whether or not now is the time to pivot. That doesn't have to be complicated. For example, I had a hard deadline of "employed in 90 days or pivot to plan b". Simple. Time and time again, I'm having conversations with folks and clearly they're frustrated, tired, and just ready to have one of the "good tech" jobs. I feel that, I swear I do. But just doing random activity over and over and expecting consistent results is pure folly. If you're feeling "out there" or "lost" in job search, here is something to consider. This is not fool-proof and is purposefully ambiguous. Just think about it. 1. What makes me special 2. What proof do I have of that 3. What role/company/industry are those special traits valued 4. How do I get a/some company(ies) from that industry or with that role to notice me 5. How long do I deem reasonable to pursue ONE strategy to my answer to #4 before I try another. I wish you well!

@github Huge thank @jesstemporal helped uncover this bug after she ran into the same situation. Even when I create a codespace on someone else’s repo, the cost hits my account — not the repo owner’s — and it ignores my free hours. Docs say otherwise. Feels like multiple billing bugs 🐛

Terrible Experience - The worst error message I have seen in the recent years: it not only blocks me creating new GitHub CodeSpace, but also locked me out of my a whole day work inside a CodeSpace for 2 weeks and get ZERO response from GitHub Support for 10+ days. @github

This might be the 🎃 Halloween spirit getting to me BUT... I wrote a development fairy tale about a writer, her trusty robot sidekick, and the dreaded "ick monster" that will haunt your dreams and make you want to refactor your entire website at 3am... 🧵 (1/3) Link at the end

Plot twist: What started as fixing a tiny bug ended with GitHub Copilot helping me wage war against "the ick monster" ⚔️🤖 Yes, I turned my morning coffee debugging session into a fairy tale. Yes, there are AI generated illustrations. 🧵(2/3)
