The counteract this, a nano bubbler system was installed to compliment the existing ozone system. Filling the pool from scratch introduced a lot of organic matter. Once this initial algae bloom is cleaned, then we will be able to see if the new system is sufficient. If it is not, they should consider adding a UV system on the recirculation to kill algae (a relatively cheap upgrade) and increase the recirculation pipes to allow for a faster turnover of the pool (a more substantial upgrade). The ozone system kills algae, and the nano bubbler starves the algae. This is a matter of how much water recirculation turnover is needed, not whether the system will work.
