Philadelphia schools spend over $20,000 per pupil for a school year that's just 180 days long, yet they can't maintain basic standards.
Give this money out as vouchers parents can spend at private schools and everything would improve dramatically, but they'll never let that happen because it's about maintaining the patronage and graft, not education.

Crazy. An elementary school in @PHLschools apparently barely has working bathrooms. The bathrooms are covered in cockroaches and mice and has major plumbing issues. Kids are having accidents cuz the bathrooms aren’t usable
