when I was a kid living in brazil, I used to hear names like visa (using my father's credit card) and jp morgan (studying the history of the USA) but for me, these were entities, I couldn't imagine they were companies with real people working inside them in the last year, I was able to not only visit them, but also discuss partnerships and explain what we're building with blindpay in 2024, we hit $900K in TPV in 2025, we hit $503M in TPV in January 2026 alone, we hit $306M i can't wait to see what our numbers will be this year

We start the week with a strong fintech IPO: Brazil's @picpay just went public on the Nasdaq today. PicPay is Brazil’s largest digital wallet and payments app, with over 64 million users. By the numbers: - $2.5B valuation - $434M raised in the IPO, with shares up 3% - For the first 9 months of 2025, PicPay reported revenue of ~$1.4 billion, up 92% in a year - The company reached a net income of 270.4 million reais, with a Return on Equity ROE of 17.4%.
