need some help from the builders on here my little bro from the big brothers big sisters program just turned 13. he’s never coded before and doesn’t know much about computers (has never had his own), but he loves math and lit up when i told him we could try building a video game together (thank you for the inspiration @levelsio) he’s had a tough upbringing and i want to help keep this spark alive. i want to get him a basic but solid laptop (not a new mac) and set him up with tools that make it easy and fun to start learning if you’re a founder, engineer, or just someone who’s built something from scratch. would love your help and appreciate the take what would you give a young buck like this to get started? reqs for laptop, youtube channels, tools, anything I’m missing?
