I argued about this in a tournament before and I was told im wrong. I used Leb's ability and the unit im copying was starcrossed. Im planning to Hidden Blade the unit the next turn but during my turn my opponent argued that the token will have temporary. I told him the process was disrupted. He stopped it during the reflexive state so my token is just there and Leblanc cant complete the resolution so it wont have temporary. We called a judge and the judge ruled it will have temporary. Eventhough I know im right, i have to respect the judge call and played. Good to know now I can send this as a ruling from an RQ judge.

@queuep0p Highly recommend @Orbital_Casting and @RandomMCaster for casting. They helped me with casting my First live streamed Riftbound tournament and they were great. I’m also interested but haven’t streamed in a long time. Idk if that matters.

Would any Riftbound players or creators be interested in an Aram tourney ? I’m kinda having an itch to organize something fun like clash but for the tcg gamers :3

@5uppps Oh man deception is a big part of the game. Did he channel 3 runes or 2? 👀 Jokes aside the game is great and in a really good spot with a diverse meta game. Best of legends is great.

for my followers ik ive been posting a lot about riftbound and ik a ton of you have no clue what it is but i heavily rec trying the game out Im going to make a how to play video to introduce you all its a card game but plays like a board game with strategy/deception elements

@achoexodia Ticket Split ended up being 147 a person for 2v2. I played @housesarebig’s Yi list for Pre RQ and Super Saturday and I played Yi along with a XP Yi for 2v2.

An undefeated weekend at #RQHartford side events going 5-0 into split in the 2v2 Champions of the Rift event! Walking home with 8 metals.

Should you net deck or innovate? On one hand there’s something that’s proven to work and you can hone it further. On the other your deck gets called Mickey Mouse until it’s gets results. 9/10 times it really is a Mickey Mouse deck but beating net deckers is so satisfying.

Watching my top 8 matches and seeing lots of misplays. Frustrating for sure, but Riftbound is an impossible game and it's heartening to know there's so much for me to improve. It's a race to the top, and it's not a sprint :)

@EveryDamnDay__ I think so to. It’s kind of awkward to ask what the card does and assume your opponent is telling you the truth with no real way to verify it unless you whip out your phone.

@johnpanio i feel like the expectation at high opl is that you should always have a print out or some way to provide translation on hand. Judges at the stream set ups should probably also be given ipads with an easy to maneuver card database

Time to buy Chinese cards. It’s cheaper 🙂

Tried out Pyke first time at a NN. 2-1 record. First round played a mirror match but he was heavy control with the list and ezreal. I went 2-1. It felt like who ever drew bewitching first was favoured . Game one I won die roll and had bewitching early. Game two he had bewitching early and baron. Game three he had bewitching early but I was able to drop a Ferrous forerunner and he didn’t have star crossed for it. Was able to top deck him and played with little resources. Next round I played against Draven and lost 0-2 I punted game one because there was a turn where he kept all runes up and didn’t play a single unit but he had a noxus hopeful in one bf and an overzealous fan at another. I tried to shoot down his hopeful with a void seeker and he played an axe. I replayed void seeker with with fizz. He puts a second axe. I ride the wind my fizz into the noxus hopeful and plays a third axe. I should have just developed and passed. Rookie mistake. Game 2 he had answers to all my plays so 🤷‍♂️ Game 3 I played an Azir and went 2-0 Game one I had bewitching early and he was forced to arise on a turn that he had double held both BF. He didn’t have any cards to work with afterwards. Game 2 I play bewitching turn 1 going second and he charms it right away but I was able to draw into another bewitching and I also had a one of wingsinger. I was able to wing singer twice which got rid of 2 of his sand soldiers and he didn’t have/want to use his amps to keep them on board. Overall good learning experience, will need to experiment more with the deck and adjust the list.

@ShawnDTCG Unfortunate, it’s long day and sometimes you forget things. Rough it ended that way but strong performance

Finished 11-2 (15th) in Hartford after a heartbreaking mistake during my win and in. I was 1 rune lower than I should have been, went through all my power costs in the game with the head judge and I think I just didn’t channel both on the final turn but we couldn’t rewind 😭 Shout out to @BradykinRB for breaking through to top 4 after going undefeated in the swiss with Ezreal! Knew it was coming ever since I played against him in Origins and we released the Ahri guide. Dhawally Academy out here crushing it, we had @TCG_Blayzd finish 10-3 on Diana and Aris on Vex through to day 2. Very excited for the next set and round of RQs, have two spoilers coming soon 👀

#RQHartford !! had the most amazing weekend and met so many awesome people, this is genuinely the best community I’ve ever encountered 🫶🏻 though I’m very new to TCGs, I’m so glad I had the opportunity to attend last minute to share my cosplays and play sooo much Riftbound 💕

Tbh Fwan is nice and teaches me a lot. He’s just a bit salty I think.

Haven’t posted in a long time but got the Best of Kai’sa at Riftbound Regional Qualifier Hartford! Got 2nd best at Atlanta, 3rd at Vancouver and finally got 1st at Hartford! hard work paid off! I was asked to split during round 12 with the 2nd best Kai’sa but declined. 😂
