All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency.
Anytime the public thinks we are cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know!
We will also have a leaderboard for most insanely dumb spending of your tax dollars. This will be both extremely tragic and extremely entertaining 🤣🤣

The mad blind rivalry of the two political parties is snuffing out the soul of our nation.
This rivalry distracts us from our real problems—the $34 trillion dollar debt; the destructive merger of state and corporate power; our declining health; the epidemic of addiction; the growing war machine; widespread soil degradation; the fact that fifty-seven percent of Americans cannot put their hands on a thousand dollars during an emergency.
Instead of focusing on these critical issues, politicians direct our attention toward divisive culture war issues such as abortion, transgender athletes, gun control. We then discharge our anxiety and rage onto these issues, and especially those who hold opposing views on them. Thus distracted, the public offers little resistance to its ongoing robbery at the hands of elite corporate interests.
Step outside the culture war. Step outside the politics of hating the other side. Vote independent in 2024! #Kennedy24

Unrealized losses now account for ~33% of all bank equity capital in the US.
Currently, banks are sitting on nearly $700 billion of unrealized losses.
To put this in perspective, even at the worst point in 2008, unrealized losses only accounted for ~5% of equity capital.
Prior to the regional bank crisis, this percentage was improving, at ~22%.
However, since the crisis we have seen rapidly rising unrealized losses.
A trend worth watching.

@Jason There is a LOT of opportunity to improve the RE market but flat fees will never be it. Folks underestimate how much work (and sometimes how little) goes into a transaction
Also Opendoor is terrible, ask any agent
English

Feels like the big opportunity is for a RE lawyer to enable a marketplace of direct transactions & that gets you on the MLS
Zero buyer/seller commission, 100% flat rate, subscription based

One thing that surprises me over the last 20 years: The 6% commission to sell a house has not been disrupted by the internet. And I don't know why. Why do you think? Zillow, Redfin have had no effect. My favorite part about Opendoor: 1. You can go in and look at an Opendoor house without talking to anyone. 2. You can submit an offer from your phone without talking to anyone.

I know it’s hard for many of you to reconcile that I’m besties with Sacks
Yes, we disagree on a lot of things.. but we have a blast when we hang out, travel, play cards, watch movies, and do the pod together.
100% of the time we have a blast!
And yes, Tucker and I are going skiing together, and who knows where that bromance goes... I don’t force things, if it’s a good hang it’s a good hang. We can disagree on things and still smash that JPOW in Niseko… it’s ok!
You know what I mean?

@ZubyMusic I think it’s similar to how did you know that “x” was the right job for you. For the majority of people, it’s the one you stick with and invest time in. For a few, it’s like a fairy tale and good for them! I will also say, investing in marriage is amazing! Best returns ever :)

@Jason @DanielNations Oh yes, good clarification. I believe that the effects are dramatically different from those diagnosed with ADHD. Most of us real ones find that taking it is the lesser of two evils while MIDS see it as a way to get ahead and “do well on this test…”. Short sighted = mid life.
English

@DanielNations I was talking about performance-based use (mainly) in my tweet
Non adhd folks are taking it to “get an edge,” which I think is unwise
English

Speed (aka aderall) as a performance drug is a trap set for MIDS — pirates, Jedi, & samurai don’t take it.
Do a cold plunge, get good sleep, and exercise — all much better ways to perform at a high level
NOT Adam Neumanns Chief of Staff@cheafofstaff
Looking back, I can’t think of anyone who regularly used drugs like aderall or modafinil in college and is now extraordinarily successful. They’re all managers / senior managers in consulting firms or VPs at banks.

@Jason Is that a Gillette Fusion tucked into the back of his pants?
