Flax Turns is a collaborative article. In early 2019, artist Christine Borland was invited by the organisation Deveron Projects (deveron-projects.com) to develop a project for the town of Huntly. Beginning in spring 2019 with the communal growing of flax.

半幅帯「日暮れの頃 やんばる」 喜如嘉の浜 2004年7月 日本の夏じたくやんばる同窓会に出展した半幅帯2点。 息子が通っていた保育所は海の目前にありました。夏には毎夕のように保育所帰りに友達と浜で暗くなるまで遊んで帰りました。そんな頃を思い出しながら織った帯です。(売約済)
