@chigbarg if you have keys set up, https checkouts will still prompt versus 'git@github.com:user/repo.git' urls, which can be changed in your local repo .git/config file; there are of course 100 things to go wrong, but I run into this when accidentally cloning over https

it's been a stupid barrier for me working on projects as often as I should because I'm still confused by git stuff sometimes and haven't felt like putting in the time to grok it when i just want to work on the other stuff

silly question; i keep getting security vulnerability warnings when i download npm packages i expect to be somewhat up-to-date. do i need to update/upgrade npm the way one does with apt, or is this up to the package maintainers, or just how it always is with these things?

A great figure from #IPCC #AR6 integrating historic (@ed_hawkins) & future (@alxrdk) warming stripes. The most striking element for me is that from today, the temperature only goes up. We can stop climate change getting worse, but hard to reverse it. ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg1/

@donrmccurdy I also have email behind my personal domain, using ProtonMail, and for calendar I use NextCloud. I haven't tried ProtonCalendar so I can't comment on it but I hope the integration with ProtonMail would be good. I recommend reddit.com/r/selfhosted for good suggestions.

@lcasdev @ChromeDevTools ah i see, i was conflating the (node_app) multithreaded-node view with the individual target view (js_app) -- looking forward to reading through the changes -- deno has been one of the best examples of working with V8 Inspector and it's much appreciated

@jsantell @ChromeDevTools We never used the Node protocol. We have used CDP 1.3+ since the first implementation of the inspector. Implementing this requires a lot of new plumbing for us though.

Over the last few weeks I have been prototyping integrating the @ChromeDevTools network panel into Deno 🦕. This would let you view ongoing fetch requests and inspect WebSockets just like in Chrome. Feedback welcome! youtube.com/watch?v=Rp8jdk…

@lcasdev @ChromeDevTools it'd be excellent if the main panel (not the node view) enabled panes based off of supported Domains (exploring similar in adding protocol v3 domains to a V8 inspector)

@ChromeDevTools I tried getting this to work last week, but my GN skills are not good enough to add a new target in the DevTools repo. Getting some pointers on where to look would be fantastic :-)
