Literally do not understand how guys shop for clothes. It’s my least favorite thing ever. I’m a grown man and still have not figured this out. So you’re supposed to go to a mall and just wander around stores, guess at which clothes look good and then try on a bunch of stuff on to see if it fits right? And then they make you stand in line before they take your money? Seems like cruel and unusual punishment. I don’t want to look like a dork but also don’t want to spend a bunch of time and money guessing at all of this. Who has figured this whole thing out?

@TheAlex_Lewis @sweatystartup Yes, it can be a very lovely gift. I find some women are hesitant to spend themselves in this way (a guilt thing? putting their needs last). Those are the best transformations - helping them see they are worthy of looking their best, and in turn, show up better for others.

@julijohnson @sweatystartup Yeah, I was cautious about this. There's a fine line between this gift coming across as thoughtful vs mean. Fortunately, my wife is a confident and considerate person. It helped that for months she'd talked about wanting to remake her personal style after Covid.

@sweatystartup I booked my wife a 3-part stylist consult: they revamped her wardrobe, then went on an epic shopping spree. Three years later, my wife still brags about that one to friends on occasion. That'll be a hard one for me to top.
