آج بیٹھے بٹھائے نجانے کیوں جسٹس ایم آر کیانی یاد آ گئے۔ بات کو ساٹھ برس سے اوپر گزر چکے ہیں لیکن پھر بھی پرانی نہیں لگتی۔
"مجھے انتخابات کے زمانے کا ایک قصہ یاد آ گیا۔ ووٹ ایک امیدوار کے ساتھ زیادہ تھے مگر سرکار دوسرے امیدوار کے ساتھ زیادہ تھی اور اس کے حق میں کھلم کھلا فرضی ووٹ ڈالے جارہے تھے۔ انتخاب کی نگرانی ایک تحصیل دار کر رہا تھا۔ آزردہ امیدوار نے اس دھاندلی پر تحصیل دار سے شکایت کی۔ تحصیل دار نے کہا کہ ڈپٹی کمشنر کے پاس شکایت کرو۔امیدوار نے کہا شکایت کی ہے مگر کچھ نہیں ہوا۔ تحصیل دار نے کہا چیف منسٹر کے پاس شکایت کرو۔ امیدوار نے جواب دیا وہاں بھی شکایت کر چکا ہوں مگر کچھ نہیں بنا۔ تحصیل دار نے کہا تو کیا اتنے لوگوں میں ایک میں ہی آپ کو دیانت دار نظر آتا ہوں؟ میں نے آخر کیا قصور کیا ہے؟" (افکار پریشاں)
پس ثابت ہوا کہ سالے ہمیشہ سے سالا گیری ہی کرتے رہے تھے اور آئیندہ بھی کریں گے۔

Retired Lt. Colonel Arsalan Haleem was martyred by BLA terrorists in Turbat. This attack was not just on a retired officer it was an attack on development in Balochistan.
After retirement, he was working as a contractor to build local infrastructure and serve the community.
Those bringing development, employment, and public welfare to Balochistan continue to be targeted.
