UGANDA 🇺🇬 TANZANIA 🇹🇿 Tourism Regional Tourism Planning With the intention of unlocking the Tanzania tourism market, Ambassador @KatusiimeAnne hosted a meeting with the board members of @ug_tour to plan how operators will participate in the upcoming Kilifair Season 2026. This time around, the Consulate is planning to host A Uganda tourism week & establish a Uganda Village exhibition stall, which will bring together local operators and host B2B meetings with Tanzanian operators to strengthen business ties. In this meeting Ms. Nancy represented AUTO, while Madam Peace of @kaynelafarmsltd and Morris of @emburara represented tour operators. Ambassador @KatusiimeAnne remains committed to promoting tourism between Tanzania and Uganda under the ECD programs powered by @UgandaMFA. @Tybisa

Uganda–Tanzania regional tourism marketing continues to gain momentum following a highlevel strategic meeting led by @KatusiimeAnne and @JulzKagwa . The engagement focused on Uganda’s active participation in #Kilifair 2026 and strengthening collaboration with Tanzania. Key resolutions include organizing an Uganda Tourism Week in Arusha, establishing an Uganda Village Exhibition Stall, and participating in the @CityofCT Arusha Marathon alongside @RwenzoriMarathn. Additionally, a B2B forum and Gala Dinner will connect tour operators, strengthen partnerships, and enhance destination marketing. With strong support from @TourismBoardUg and @ugwildlife , this initiative positions Uganda competitively on the global tourism map.

Uganda–Tanzania Regional Tourism Marketing A must Read👇 Earlier today, we held a strategic planning meeting bringing together the Uganda Arusha Consul General, Amb. @KatusiimeAnne; The CEO of the Tourism Board, @JulzKagwa; The Ag. Commissioner (Business & Development) at @ugwildlife, @DorcusRT; The Marketing Manager at UTB @francisnyende; and myself. The meeting focused on Uganda’s active participation in KiliFair 2026 and on strengthening tourism collaboration between our two sister states 🇺🇬🇹🇿. The following key resolutions were agreed upon: The Consulate will organize a Uganda Tourism Week in Arusha during the KiliFair season. @ArushaUganda will establish a flagship Uganda Village Exhibition Stall, providing a platform for various tourism stakeholders to showcase their offerings. The Consulate will participate in the renowned Cape to Cairo Arusha Marathon in collaboration with @RwenzoriMarathn through targeted activations. A B2B engagement forum will be organised to connect tour operators from Uganda and Tanzania. The Consulate will host a Gala Dinner for operators participating in KiliFair to foster networking and partnerships. A highlight of the engagement was the strong commitment from both @TourismBoardUg and @ugwildlife to collaborate and actively support this initiative. We extend our sincere appreciation to @UgandaMFA for championing these economic and commercial diplomacy efforts, which continue to position Uganda on the global tourism map.

To align on Uganda’s participation in KiliFair 2026 and strengthen tourism ties with Tanzania We agreed on key actions including a Uganda Tourism Week in Arusha, a flagship Uganda Village exhibition stall.
