@Vladcostea The earliest hodlers acquired many whole bitcoins at unfairly cheap spot prices and/or "essentially free" cpu mining with fantastic rewards. The hodls of these Original Guards are now immense beyond reason and will gradually and naturally redistribute to stragglers.

Okay so a Satoshi-era wallet transferred 9k BTC to Coinbase Good for him, made a fortune just by being patient But the most important question is: why sell now? Did the OG whale lose faith in the project? Because if he still hoped Bitcoin was the future of money, he’d sell 100 for living expenses and keep the rest for another decade or so. Or maybe he’s dying and doesn’t have a good inheritance plan? Bottom line: when the guys who believed in bitcoin when the price was 0 are exiting, it’s never a good sign. These are the idealists who supported the project since its inception.

The v30 bug recall further discouraged upgrades, leaving many on the buggy 30.0 while Knots offers a stable, policy-preferred alternative w/o those issues.

Apparently all the Knots people don't understand that Knots is just Luke's personal project that he unilaterally pushes changes to whenever he feels like with almost no public community review at all. I believe in multiple implementations and running whatever you want but... Knots is NOT safe IMO without this peer review and I'd never trust it with my coins. @stephanlivera No, it's a direct response to Core v30. Core did not build consensus for the idea of a 100kB trashcan default mempool policy, even though they were supposed to. Bitcoin ≠ Bitcoin Core It it what it is.

BIP110 is a hostile fork. Proponents did not build consensus for the idea. They are instead smearing and attacking anyone who disagrees. They are attempting to hijack the network.

Silver has surged strongly this year contrary to the BTC pullback. Bitcoin seems a coiled spring to me with very strong tailwinds and oversold RSI. Now at ATH silver jolts violently +-10%. Something is about to happen I think. What?, I wonder.
