@OGxTP Here in Britain, Gen X had a grand total of 3 TV channels (which grew to 4 in 1982). The monoculture was real: we had no choice but to learn about Buster Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, black and white films, etc. And I feel more and more glad about that as time goes on.
