Warren Buffet: "I can end the deficit in five minutes. You juts pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for reelection."

I just finished our annual winter rewatch of #entourage last night with my family. It has to be the most perfect ending of any series ever created as the boys stand at Van Nuys Airport to see Sloane across the runway in a red dress waving E on board, both jets take off in Tandem to one of the greatest songs of all time, "Going to California" by Led Zepplin. The perfect end to the perfect series. Until next winter. Godspeed, Vince, E, Turtle, Drama, Ari and Sloane. And thank you, @mrdougellin for creating a masterpiece that brings so many of us joy - You made me cry you bastard!

My receptionist, Emily, lost her husband unexpectedly in a car accident. Our company policy allows for 3 days of bereavement leave. On day 4, she showed up, pale and shaking, trying to answer phones because she couldn't afford to lose her income. It was heartbreaking to watch. I put the 'Out to Lunch' sign up, locked the door, and sat her down. I told her, 'Go home. Take the month. Take two. Your salary will continue as if you are here 8 hours a day.' Grief doesn't have a 3-day expiration date. If you force people to work through trauma, you break them. If you support them, they remember it forever.

A desperate dad rushes his 2-year-old to the hospital after she's hurt. Staff admits they can't really treat her... yet they refuse to let him transfer her to a better facility like Children's Hospital. He stays calm but stands firm: 'If I bring my child to a facility that cannot take care of her, there is no need for her to be in the facility. That man just said he cannot submit my child in this hospital because they do not have child stuff for my child, so I have to take my child to another hospital.' Police get called when doctors insist on another 24 hours of observation. Dad fires back: 'You just said you can't do nothing for her—so why keep her? This is about my daughter's well-being. I'M TAKING HER TO A HOSPITAL THAT CAN HELP HER!' This is a parent's nightmare, fighting for your own kid against the system.

Daytime is currently going through a volatile period that has not been seen since 2009-2011, due to ad budget crunches when the housing market crash led to the forced cancellations of several high-profile shows, including four network soaps ("All My Children" and "One Life to Live" at ABC; "Guiding Light" and "As The World Turns" at CBS) and even "The Oprah Winfrey Show," which saw many affiliates balking at demands to pay higher license fees to keep the show on the air (it was just convenient the talk show was approaching its 25th season). With the NBC getting out of the first-run syndication business with the cancellation of all of its syndicated programs, including "Access Hollywood," "Access Daily," "The Steve Wilkos Show" and "Karamo," it's just proof that the networks and their syndication arms need high-performing shows that can retain daily viewership across all platforms, including Linear and Streaming, and commands a solid presence on Social Media. I won't say which genre still performs well in the aforementioned metrics, but let's keep watching them as all four that have remained in the 15 years since the last cancellation, plus the newest entry, continue performing far and wide better than all of the ever-dwindling crop of daytime programs that are getting their walking papers this year. I'll miss several of the shows leaving us in 2026, but we have to remember this is a year of change, and next month will be a big month for at least two of our five shows from a business perspective. Let's hope they get the vote of confidence they need, as three of their counterparts got last year.

We’ll subscribe for unlimited access to old episodes. #Days #GH #Bold #YR #AMC #OLTL #GL #Passions #Loving #SunsetBeach #SantaBarbera who’d I miss?

An American pays $5,000 a year for “health insurance” For 3 years, she doesn’t use it ONCE. The one time she finally needs it — they STILL bill her $300. She pays thousands for the idea of help… and still pays when help is actually needed. Healthcare is a SCAM.

INTRODUCING: The Death Penalty for Child Rapists Act to amend Title 18 to authorize the death penalty for aggravated sexual abuse, sexual abuse of a minor and abusive sexual contact offenses against children. It will also amend the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to authorize the death penalty for the rape of a child. There are no excuses for harming children. We've spent months fighting to expose Jeffrey Epstein's network of powerful predators. We've demanded accountability and pushed for transparency. Now we're making sure anyone who rapes a child faces the ultimate consequence. Children are the most vulnerable among us. Those who prey on them deserve the harshest penalty our justice system can deliver. Death penalty for child rapists.

James Van Der Beek had to auction off Dawson’s Creek memorabilia to pay his medical bills. Eric Dane’s family had to fight the insurance company to get him nursing care in his last month’s of life. This is the for profit US “healthcare” system. Even the privileged struggle.
