去年の今日初めてインドはチェンナイに降り立ったんだなー！　写真は空港から私らをカモったボッタクリタクシードライバーたち！安全にホテル連れてってくれて感謝だぜ！高かったけどな！！ 次のインドの計画もたてていくゥ！チェンナイのここ行っとけあったらぜひ教えてください🙋🏽

Spent a day in Chennai and took 5 autos. During my drive casually asked the drivers how they feel about the new TVK government and how the road experience compares to the previous administration. Out of the 5, 4 drivers gave remarkably consistent feedback: They feel they are finally being treated with dignity and respect by the authorities. During regular checks, If your papers are valid, they let you go immediately. If not, you are asked to go to the police station. The days of easily paying your way out on the spot are gone. People are afraid that the could be feautured on a reel. There seem to be no arbitrary money collection targets now, so they are not being pestered for bribes. Fitness Certificate (FC) costs have dropped from 8K to 2.5K, saving them a significant amount every year. The general consensus among them was - "We don't know how long this will continue, but we hope it lasts." #Chennai #TamilNadu #TVK
