Bitcoin holder takes out a $200k loan against their stack. The platform lends those coins to a hedge fund to generate yield. The hedge fund takes a directional bet that goes wrong. Bitcoin drops 40%. The platform faces a liquidity crunch. It can't return the collateral. The loan gets called. The coins are gone. The statement still says they own them. We're contractually prohibited from doing any of this. Your Bitcoin backs your loan. Nothing else. No one else.

A sharpe ratio of 3.88 separates $STRC from every other asset. ETF inflows track sentiment and when Bitcoin rises, money flows in. When it falls, money flows out. $STRC instead creates demand that doesn't require a rising price to function. Income-seeking investors buy for yield. Strategy raises the capital and buys BTC to back it. And that loop runs on appetite for stable income, not on Bitcoin being up today. Most assets compete on returns. $STRC competes on a whole different variable.
