The problem it solves and the initial price tag, what’s wrong with that today? How far will that go down when it’s a more popular service. Your just seeing people trying to get to the market first and set price standards. Commercial service companies do 100k+ deals every week. What’s 20k to them to get a company that is trying to stay ahead in AI, and can help implement workflows to prevent leakage? Large companies is even crazier, I’ve seen 100k+. Early bird gets the room. These things take a lot more time then X will lead you to believe, its going to get quicker and easier as time goes on. The companies doing it for 20k today, will be the 1hr setups for 5-10k next year and will be able to stay competitive with the market flood of AI implementation companies.

I'm noticing a trend
there's a growing number of "AI consulting" firms charging $20K+ to "deploy Claude" to legacy businesses (mid-sized law, accounting, PE firms) as "Anthropic enterprise partners"
what this means:
- they install claude code, cowork
- run a few commands to connect to tools
- give generic or misleading advice on a tech stack
meanwhile, there's more interest than ever for firms with 0 technical staff to build SaaS in-house and there's an entire industry of advice givers seeking to profit off of this trend
last week I was on a call with a PE firm (working with one of these agencies) and someone who had never written code was asking whether to run a RAG vector DB on a Mac mini to chunk internal docs
can't make this up

@vishnuunhsiv9 @steipete @openclaw You need a 2nd bot (maintenance bot) to just got fix this kind of thing.
English

@Voxyz_ai So what’s different in telegram/openclaw then what it has been? I’ve had STT and TTS via elevenlabs for months now. Some of my older users prefer just using voice. Sending a voice message would trigger a voice message received from your bot in return.
English

@Voxyz_ai Nice! Just sent this to my bot. Will apply it to my fleet if it works
English

openclaw 4.25 reworked TTS, and i just got my telegram + voice note flow running. sharing a few gotchas you might hit:
my combo: elevenlabs handles both ends. TTS on eleven_flash_v2_5, STT on scribe_v2, messages.tts.auto set to inbound. both on the same provider cuts your debug load in half. inbound means voice-reply only when the user sends voice, text messages stay text, so no flooding group chats and no extra wait. heads up these are two separate things: messages.tts handles the agent talking back, tools.media.audio handles the agent hearing the user. don't mix them.
a few gotchas: fast TTS doesn't mean the whole voice reply is fast. the slow part is usually the agent in the middle running tools or reading memory. making voice replies feel snappy means shorter replies, fewer tool calls, and memory discipline, not just swapping the TTS model. STT and TTS can break independently. hears me but won't talk, talks but won't hear, text fine voice broken, three different problems, debug separately. one hidden trap: if STT runs on openai and TTS runs on elevenlabs, an openai quota issue looks like voice not understood while text and TTS still work. that's the STT side, not telegram.
last thing: voice note is not a phone call. upload, STT, agent, TTS, send back, each step has to wait its turn, so there's always some delay. if you want a real back-and-forth like a phone call, that's voice call / streaming, not regular voice notes.

@nicksortor this is great video. VP out before POTUSA is a failure. Two Teams, Two Strategies. IDK how that all works, but obvious failure.

I have tried codex on my mac, codex cli, my openclaw bot. I haven’t tried chatgpt, didn’t think that was a good route.
Prior to the opus switch i could just have a bot build a pretty nice website to my standards that wasn’t slop. And thats just basically going back and forth with cloudflare preview links and giving my notes and thoughts. 2 hours later, I have something I like.
I figured it may just be the way llm is injesting the prompts with opus vs gpt5.4.
How can I make gpt5.4 give me better output? Any config or prompting suggestions? Its my main LLM now.
English

I had to go to claude design today to build out a website, gpt5.4 would have never done this. It has just been giving me ai slop. I think its just claude gets us vibe coders better output, or we I just cant prompt gpt5.4 correctly? I would love to know how yall are getting the success yall are.
English

What are you running your local llm’s on? Tokens/sec?
I just saw a video of someone getting GLM5.1 on a mac studio, that’s probably the best current option to run if you can.
I’ve been playing around with getting the LLM’s to do some background grunt work likem memory stuff, my cards are too old though.

@hydee2400 @Yemnmx @nikitabier @John_wintersIV @DailyLoud Yes, that's accurate. X's new policy reduces impressions (up to 90%) on reposts or copied content from third-party sources without unique commentary or original value added. The goal is to boost fresh, net-new content on the platform.
English

@tolibear_ I just went through moving my bots to hermes, took awhile to get set back up. They actually do stuff again. For some reason I couldnt get gpt5.4 to work on openclaw correctly. Im pretty happy again with what I’m getting from my bots.
English

Tempted to tear it all down and start from zero.
My lobster stack was built on Opus, and it just doesn’t seem compatible with GPT 5.4.
This last week has been incredibly frustrating and caused a massive backlog of work.
Any tips from other pros?
(Dont say try Hermes, i have)
Josh Pigford@Shpigford
i turned off my 🦞 the past week of trying to force it to work with other models was a massive drain and i was able to replicate the vast majority of impactful functionality with a mix of claude cowork + code.

Step 1: @steipete release an open source agent framework
Step 2: people line up outside Tencent HQ to install it
OpenClaw adoption in China is on another level.
