Saturday, 18th January 2025 at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria will forever go down in the history books of @SeiNetwork!
At the occasion of the Sei Nigeria Community IRL Event, a dedicated, resilient and "dawged" group of Nigerians came together to demonstrate that with a strong community of committed individuals, "magic" can be achieved!
Thousands connected both physically present at the venue and virtually online via streaming, learning about SEI, connecting with each other, and generally catching fun!
Ecosystem projects like @dragonswap_dex, @jlyvrs, @OpSafePlace etc was highlighted to the various audiences and different communities that showed up for the event! It was such a wonderful time for everyone, as demonstrated by the hundreds of picture and comments flooding the TL regarding the event!
Food, drinks, partners protocol merchs shared by all added so much color and excitements to the program!
Plans was to keep this post short and straight to the point, but sudden overwhelmed excitements to the success of the event brought it this long!😎
It is wise to still use this opportunity to thank everyone that contributed to the success of this event:
✅The @Sei_FND for trusting in Nigerians that we can deliver (especially @phillip_xyz, @_osten and @ProAboveMe, for direct assistance when required)
✅The event host/co-host (@TheRealIfiokLee and @GeeAkpan) for sleepless nights, agreeing, disagreeing, pushing backs and forths, late-night meetings running into hours etc
✅The hard working volunteers at the host city who gave their FREE time without being paid to make sure this happened! You guys are the real MVPs of it all!
✅The teaming community of Nigerians on SEI, who from the very first beginning showed support, gave suggestions, joined late night spaces, flocked to discord, responded whenever requested and added value in so many ways. Thank you!
And finally to the millions of SEIYANS all around the globe, we say THANK YOU FROM NIGERIA!!!!!!!!! LETS ALL JOIN HANDS TO MAKE SEI GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!💪💪💪
So, what next from the Sei Nigeria Community???? That's the big question that will be answered in ... Stay glued to this handle!😎
