I designed this onboarding interface to accelerate user activation by breaking down complex setups into a clear, actionable checklist.

Context switching kills user flow. Have you ever tried to log an expense but had to calculate the total first? I added an inline calculator to the amount field of this project. You can add, multiply or perform basic calculations right there. A small UI detail that saves huge cognitive load. #UX #ProductDesign #UI #UXDesign #UIDesign #UIUX

@AFisolami @leyeConnect I think having it inside the same field still works cause the focus moves once one part is filled and looks cleaner

@la__tide @leyeConnect this is actually a good approach but coukd be better, more like creating there own input field separately but should still be on the same line.

@leyeConnect amazing design snr, i learnt something recently, which is card number, month, year and CVV should be in one line cause the focus switches instantly after each one is filled, and that helps reduce the amount of taps by 4. whats your take on this?

@la__tide Yes, but you need have a base design in place (like I mentioned in my post)

Here's my guide to making Claude adapt your taste (TLDR; scroll down to find the skills. md link) > open figma, yes you need figma > Download one frame > Preferably a page/s with lot of components (ex: dashboard with left nav, cards, buttons, colors, icons) > Upload it as a reference guide > go back to figma, right click the frame where you exported the image from, go to copy/paste as -> copy code -> css (all) > Add that code, along with reference image in claude > ask ai to build the page > tinker with it till it looks 1:1 (css variable we have added speed up this process) > you can keep adding other pages image & code, so you have more variables to build an entire app > once you're happy, ask ai to generate a design. md file so you can apply this to any app New Chat > Now try this: upload a sample IA flow (login/dashboard/chat/tables etc) + the design. md you just generated (also give 2 lines of context about the IA & the product) > you get a brand new app with entirely new flows, pages etc but with your design taste attached to the design. md file Skills md file - copy from here baked.design/skillsmd
