Somebody pinch me please 😭. From losing my dad at 2, to free school meals and life on a council estate, working at McDonald’s to support my mum… to now being named on the Forbes list. Building both a consultancy and a charity, studying at Oxford and Harvard, earning a PhD and an honorary doctorate along the way. Only God.

After a busy breakfast shift today I got loose on the shortbread.. I was asked to make a big batch and separate into three And choose any three flavours that I fancied making into biscuits So I chose Rosemary and Parmesan cheese Pistachio And as an extra sweet treat, I chose honeycomb and chocolate… They are all ready in the fridge to be cut up tomorrow and baked off Which one’s do you prefer? Whilst you twits are deliberating over this conundrum I will put the kettle on…♥️

My maid of honor looked at this dress I'd spent eight months waiting for and said, "That's... not a wedding dress. It's a costume." The words hit like ice water. I'd fallen in love with the embroidery after seeing the seamstress's work on the Tedooo app - she specializes in traditional dresses, and I wanted something that honored my grandmother's heritage. Every flower was hand-stitched, every hummingbird placed with intention. It cost me three months of savings and countless late-night messages about thread colors and placement. Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds.

As you know I’m a hard working girl , But just lately with heating oil double the price and petrol and just about everything we need to exist.. I literally have no pennies, other than paying my monthly bills .. But today I “ wasted” £3 and brought myself a 1st edition John Betjeman poem book .. It was worth missing lunch for …♥️

As hungry husband has been away , I stopped by the butchers on the way home .. And picked up some bloody gorgeous lamb chops .. So I’m making an Italian marinade of oil , lemon , fresh rosemary out of the garden , garlic and oregano … Just waiting for the new potatoes to get tender then bashing them up a bit and making roasted new potatoes… Just a bit of broccoli and we are there .. Wonder what Hungry husband will make of this..? We shall see…🤭🤭🤭 What have you lot got on this chilly Monday night for your dinner?

There is nothing more unnatural than losing a child before one’s own time is up. Whatever time I have left will be spent preventing these forsaken circumstances for other families in our country. I miss you so much Grace…in your name…… dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

My last day working as a nurse for the NHS. After 30 years and at 70 years old it’s to time to hang my hat and belt up. It’s been a humbling, privileged and very happy career. NHS you’re the best.

Say Hello to the Eubank Twins. Axl (right) & Kade (left). They were born in Dubai on Feb 27 & the next day we were attacked! It’s an indescribable feeling hearing explosions outside, while you’re in hospital with your new borns. These boys were literally born into war… I know they will grow to be strong, resilient & brave just like the people of the UAE. Only question is… Which one looks more like me 🤷🏽‍♂️😄

Sitting in the garden with the dog and a cup of coffee, watching the Sun starting to set.. The birds are twittering so loudly, singing their bedtime song.. Today has been a glorious day.. I’ve spent it outside in the garden strimming and clearing, making it summer ready..♥️

Woke up this morning at just gone six.. I thought I’d died in my sleep and woke up in a tangerine heaven.. The whole room was bathed in orange and I turned over and looked left out the window and the whole world seem to be on fire, This was my bedroom window view had just gone 6 o’clock this morning in the wilds of Suffolk.. Mother nature is taking her art classes again and by God she’s bloody good…. #lovecountrylife

Sorry for radio silence today .. Had some horrible news yesterday afternoon.. Hungry husbands 93 year mummy had stayed at his sisters over Easter , Sister has a very old house , very uneven floors , steps up ..steps down .. steps everywhere Well, poor old Rose took a flying lesson and went bang on the floor after falling down a step. She smashed her face up ..she has banged and hurt her arm and all sorts, She’s been under the doctor ever since , but home now .. so husband went down to stay with his mummy and they went for a walk in the fields behind her house.. I didn’t do a close-up photo as she’s not looking her best at the moment But I’m sure we wish her all the best for a speedy recovery and the colour in her cheeks goes back to normal soon.. God bless her …♥️♥️

Beth Rigby – The Mask Is Gone. This is not journalism. This is propaganda, performed live on Sky News by a woman who has spent years pretending to be an impartial political editor while openly serving as Keir Starmer’s personal PR handler. Beth Rigby sat through a weeping Prime Minister’s performance and offered him comfort instead of questions. She gave him the softest landing imaginable while the country he leads is being deliberately dismantled. She is the same journalist who broke lockdown rules herself at Kay Burley’s illegal birthday dinner, then spent years helping hound the public and the last government over Partygate. She is the same journalist who ambushes Nigel Farage and Reform with loaded questions but rolls out the red carpet for Labour. She is the same journalist who has been called out repeatedly as a propagandist, not a reporter, because that is exactly what she has become. Paid and protected by the establishment she serves, Beth Rigby has spent this interview shielding Starmer from every single issue that actually matters to the British people. Here are the five questions any real journalist would have asked instead of handing him tissues and absolution: 1. Prime Minister, you spent ten minutes crying about your “mistake” in rehabilitating Peter Mandelson, a man twice forced to resign in disgrace with documented ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Why did you appoint him as Britain’s Ambassador to the United States? 2. Your senior aide Morgan McSweeney had his phone allegedly stolen from inside No.10 and serious questions remain about the cover-up. What are you hiding, and why was this only given one weak throwaway question at the very end? 3. Since you took office the small boat crossings have continued at record levels, with hundreds of thousands more illegal migrants flooding into Britain. You scrapped Rwanda on day one and refuse to turn any boat back. Why have you completely failed to stop the boats? 4. Why has your Labour government repeatedly blocked or watered down a full national public inquiry into the grooming gangs that destroyed thousands of British girls, many in Labour-run towns and councils? 5. You have cut winter fuel payments from millions of British pensioners, forcing them to choose between heating and eating, while still housing illegal migrants in hotels and handing massive pay rises to public-sector workers. How do you justify betraying the very working-class and elderly voters who put you in power? Beth Rigby, the British public has seen enough. You are no longer a journalist. You are a paid operative for a failing regime. In front of the entire world you have disgraced your profession and this nation. The British people want you gone from their television screens permanently. Whatever the establishment is paying you, it had better be enough to keep you far away from real British life for the rest of your days. Because the mask is not slipping anymore. It is gone. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

Good morning and happy Sunday. Another fantastic turnout for our Sunday Men’s Walks. Me and Rob are so proud of everyone turning up every single week supporting one another. Nice to see new and old faces every single week and as the group continues to grow I would like to invite anyone down to come join us. Talk to someone if you are struggling. We are here to support you, get a bit of fresh air and enjoy the Essex country side. Have a fantastic Sunday. Sending love to you and your families. Bosh❤️
