I was just out front & an elderly woman out walking stopped to ask me if my dad still lived here. I had to tell her that no, he passed away a cpl yrs ago & that i lived here now. I introduced myself & thanked her for stopping to chat. She laughed & said i would prob be her only interaction today & possibly all week. That made me sad cuz as much as i hate people in general, we are losing our sense of community. Everyone's turning to online for their communities & i don't think that's a good thing. Elderly folk will end up even more isolated than before. Please check in on the ones you know. Tell them a weird-ass chick on Twitter named Lanie told you to.

Russia invading Ukraine, bombing cities every night. America should be unashamedly on the right side — the side of democracy, the side of Ukraine, country that wants to align with us.
