@JeffBrewer1 @EricMacramalla Marner was a puck mover . Goalies wouldn’t have to make as many saves if the puck wasn’t in our end. That’s the biggest difference this year.

@EricMacramalla they'd be in the same place with Marner FWIW. Last year they got saves. This year they are not. A lot of the underlying numbers are the same.

@leafchick93 I’d say it’s Nylander. He has more big moments in games that mattered most. Matthews and Marner rarely showed up in games 6 or 7. Tavares had a series winner.

They should have shown all the playoff highlights of Mitch. Would have been a good 20 seconds.

Mitch Marner’s allowed to want a fresh start. Allowed to disagree with the Leafs about money. Allowed to not win the Cup. Winning the Cup is hard. He’s going to get booed tonight for one reason: a Toronto kid, on the way out, insinuated Toronto’s a bad place to play.
