Build with us👇
Clifton Sellers@CliftonSellers

After working with 200+ clients to build personal brands This is the formula that we have used to: • Gain millions of followers • Increase inbound leads • Create authentic brands Before we talk about the content, let's talk about who should work with Legacy Builder (and who shouldn't) You should work with us if you: • Have a proven offer • Are wiling to share your story • You know who your target audience is • You are willing to commit to a long-term vision • Want content going out daily to build your brand You should not work with us if you: • Don't have a value proposition • Aren't willing to share your story • Feel that it's impossible to capture your voice • Think that building a brand happens overnight • Don't want content going out daily to build brand Now on to the the formula There are 5 types of content that we deploy at Legacy Builder as a base • Case Studies • Video Shorts • Authenticity • Authority/Expertise • Text-only Here's why we do this: Case studies prove that you have done this for other people Video shorts allow your audience to hear and connect with you Authenticity allows for your audience to see you are. a real person Authority/Expertise allow your audience to see that you are the expert (and still learning everyday) Text-only gives you the chance to share random thoughts without it being overproduced Put all this together with our team (strategists, writers, designers, success managers) working on your behalf and you have the recipe for a real brand Legacy Builder has worked with: Email Marketers E-commerce brands Mindset/Performance Coaches Marketing Agencies Product Brands Personal Brands Authors and Speakers C-suite executives Many more… The reason we are able to have success is because of our process that we have refined over time We also take a client-first approach When you sign with us you have a dedicated channel to speak with your: • Strategist • Writer • Designer • Succes Manager • Myself We onboard you, interview you, and roll out your content. You are with us every step of the way and have access to collaborate with us (without having to hire a full-team in house, train them, and hope it works) If you are looking to build your brand and want: • A customized content plan • A dedicated writing team • A strategy that gets results Send me a DM to book a call. We work with CEOs, Founders, Agency Owners and Business to build audiences daily (and love doing it).

One of my favorite questions we get sometimes "how big is your team" We keep our team compact intentionally. Lean. Focused. Dedicated. As we grow, one of the highest priorities is to maintain flexibility, attention, and first in class client experience. We work with A-players, and keep our company culture aligned so it functions as both an attractor (to the right people) and a repellent (to the wrong fit) I can't recall who posted this banger on X but it read: "Winning in 1990: Lean, Fast, Profitable. Winning in 2026: Lean, Fast, Profitable." The game has changed in some major ways, but the fundamentals of what makes a team or business win longterm haven't changed a bit.  Keep building.  (if you are top 1% talent in all areas of content building/video editing/client success, my DM's are open let's talk) @legacybuilder

19 hard truths I’ve learned scaling our agency to $2M+ ARR: 1. Friends won’t always support you. 2. Most people don’t work as hard as they say. 3. Speed beats polish. 4. Systems beat talent. 5. People buy certainty. 6. You sell more when you educate. 7. Every business is a content business. 8. Momentum is more important than motivation. 9. You’ll outgrow people. 10. Leveling up feels lonely. 11. Cash flow is king. 12. Confidence comes from doing the reps. 13. Nobody cares about your excuses. 14. You will fail your way forward. 15. Your product matters less than your positioning. 16. The market decides, not you. 17. Most problems are solved by talking to your customers. 18. Building authority is a cheat code. 19. The ceiling moves as soon as you hit

People want some “magic bullet” for content It really just comes down to: > consistency > adapting > having fun > being honest > not being bothered If you test and tweak to much, it won’t work You have to allow for compounding There is no secret, just the work

Everyone needs a playbook. For music, for business SOP's, for sports, whatever. A guiding set of rules that shows you what to focus on, and what step to take next. We have been quietly building out our DWY services for some time now, and yesterday we had a particularly fun onboarding call with a new client. They have an amazing business. They have an amazing team. And they have been wanting to add social media and newsletter... ...but like many people, they were overwhelmed by all of the conflicting opinions on the timeline. How many posts per day?  What kind of posts? What about outreach? The two most common constraints I see are 1) unclear brand positioning, and 2) fear of judgement. To overcome the 1st constraint, the simplest way is to identify the opposite - start with what you don't want to represent. It gets the process moving, and helps you start piecing together the vague outline of your core messaging. For the 2nd, the best solution is to gain maximum clarity around your WHY. Your purpose will give you the best chance of focusing on the right things, and ignoring the rest. If you want to learn more about our DWY, send me a dm let's chat

Be me > go to college > climb the corporate ladder > realize you were sold a lie > start a 5-9 to earn extra income > build a personal brand > launch an agency > scale to the point you quit your job > don’t buy flashy cars, watches, or clothes > pay off your debt > build your dream home for your wife and kids > realize that you changed entire generations

Play it safe That’s what society tells you Go to school, get the degree, get a “normal job”, work 40 years, contribute to your 401k, retire with a gold watch at 65 and “enjoy life” After 10 years, I decided to get off the treadmill I wish I would’ve done it sooner

Let's talk about flywheels. The early work of business is actually the process of building flywheels. Feedback systems that create inertia toward your goals. Here are some of the core flywheels that we have developed at Legacy Builder: 1. Content Creation Better content → strong results → case studies → attract more clients → more content. 2. Distribution Publish content → grow audience → inbound leads → showcase client work → bigger audience. 3. Client Success Great work → client results → retention + upsells → referrals → more growth. 4. Talent & Systems Hire skilled talent → better work → refine processes → attract more talent → stronger results. 5. Niche Authority Specialize in niche → build case studies → easier sales → deeper expertise → more inbound. 6. Partnerships Partner with agencies/tools → referrals both ways → stronger network → more clients. (very focused on flywheel 6 for 2026) 7. Productization Standardized offers → faster sales + delivery → higher margins → reinvest to improve. 8. Technology Use tools/AI → faster + cheaper → better quality → win more clients → fund more tech. 9. Thought Leadership Share insights → build credibility → attract clients → more success stories → stronger authority. 10. Community Create free community/events → attract ideal clients → conversions → showcase wins → more members. 11. Revenue Existing revenue flows → reinvest into talent/systems → higher-quality results → better case studies → more new clients increasing revenue. shoutout @theonenicka for his flywheel insights, that's where this framework came from
