I dug a little deeping in to @ClipperNationCP's Nic Batum who shot the ball just TEN times within the 3-point line this season. Check out this wild shot chart which shows him attempting only 3 shots inside the paint.

Shout out to @DLLS_Mavs Naji Marshall, who has the best floater in the league according to NBA shot data on hoopsjunkie.io. Naji ranks 1st in the league from 5-9 feet at a blistering 58.5% among qualifying players (min. 1 FGA per game and 58 GP).

@Sam_Vecenie Very few players have a shot chart like this in today's NBA but DeRozan is still holding it down.

I’ve always been a DeRozan appreciator but I love the idea that DeRozan could be a top-10 scorer in NBA history just doing it his way for the last decade as 3-point rates have exploded. There’s something balletic to his footwork, it’s a wonderful, aesthetically pleasing game IMO.

Added play-in predictions and some helpful arrows between some matchups. The model REALLY likes Charlotte. Has them winning away in Toronto in the 7 vs 8 matchup then taking the Celtics to 7 in the first round.

I recently added some fun playoff projections to hoopsjunkie.io/standings/proj… It will be interesting to see how these play out.

I know Kings fans are grumpy about this win but I like that Sacramento are actually playing their young guys and trying to compete. These teams that are tanking so hard that they shut down their own prospects should be ashamed. Hopefully the basketball gods reward the Kings.
