Mastering a programming language won’t matter so much. Knowing the basics so you can understand what the AI model is building will be enough. Like you said, knowing WHAT to build will be the key. Maybe in a few years from now, knowing programming languages will become completely irrelevant… maybe. The AI will handle all the “how to build”.

The developers who will dominate the next 5 years aren't learning new languages... They're learning how to prompt AI. Prompting is the new programming. Architecture is the new syntax. Knowing WHAT to build is more valuable than knowing HOW to code it. The shift has already happened.
