The Sikh community condemned this immediately. They made it clear he does not represent them and said they would deal with it within their community. The Sikh community should not be blamed for one man's actions. Neither should Muslims be blamed for the actions of grooming gangs. My question is simple. Where were the prominent Pakistani Muslim voices saying the same thing when the grooming gang scandals first broke? Or more importantly our weak government!

PROPOSAL - instead of banning the traditional Sikh dagger legalise all traditional ethnic daggers BUT you are only allowed to carry the traditional ethnic dagger of your own ethnicity

Carrying a kirpan like this also solves the issue of religious belief. We don’t need a long and sharp blade to fulfil our need to carry a ceremonial dagger.
