For a long time, the government of Spain under @sanchezcastejon has been operating against the State of Israel in every way possible. Sánchez and his ministers level false blood libels against Israel and its army, defame and incite against Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu. The government of Spain has been attempting to harm us in international institutions, including repeated - and unsuccessful - attempts to push sanctions against us in the European Union. During the war against Iran, it acted against our interests and against the interests of our ally, the United States of America. Today I decided, in coordination with @IsraeliPM, to notify Spain that it will no longer be permitted to continue participating in the Civil Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat (CMCC). Spain’s obsessive anti-Israel bias under Sánchez’s leadership is so egregious that it has lost all capability to serve a constructive role in implementing @POTUS’s peace plan and the center operating under it. I briefed our American friends in advance of this decision.

Les déclarations de certains individus ne reflètent pas les politiques d’État, et les dirigeants des deux côtés s’emploient à éviter toute escalade militaire. Rivalité ne rime pas avec guerre. Évitons donc les discours alarmistes et fantaisistes mis en avant par certaines personnes qui veulent cette guerre pour des raisons diverses.. (Sinan Ciddi, gulénistes, FDD, etc..). Ils en viennent même à imaginer des mécanismes qui n’existent pas, comme l’expulsion de la Turquie de l’OTAN, un discours qui circule déjà depuis 2016. La Turquie a toute sa place au sein de l’OTAN, comme l’a encore illustré l’interception de missiles balistiques iraniens qui la visaient. Certains vont même jusqu’à affirmer que les États-Unis voudraient quitter l’OTAN afin de permettre à Israël d’attaquer la Turquie. Cela reviendrait à dire que Washington serait prêt à abandonner un outil stratégique majeur de projection de puissance pour faciliter une telle attaque. Un peu de sérieux!
