our work on trying to understand the tissue-specificity of lncRNAs is out!! we performed an MPRA to analyze endogenous core promoter activities across lncRNAs, mRNAs, and eRNAs in 3 diverse human cell lines & find that sometimes, specificity is associated with TF motif simplicity

LNCipedia 5.2 had just been released to resolve some issues with the naming schema in LNCipedia 5.1.

Several users notified us of inconsistencies with the names of lncRNAs in LNCipedia 5.1. We are currently working on a solution and will release an update shortly.

LNCipedia 5.1 was released this week with support for Sequence Ontology terms. A custom pipeline classifies all genes and transcripts based on their orientation to protein coding genes.
