@cocoarini Yes!!! He’s a super cool stallion and a super successful reiner!! I used to know a couple of his older kids (though he has nearly 800 colts so it’s not hard to find one lol)

@cocoarini Colonels Shining Gun produces a lot of pinto/splashed white colts (most of them are chestnut though)

@luckkems @23skiddsy Roan tbs are still around, there’s one stallion Mathemagician that is really the only hope, but even then i don’t think they’ll be around much longer. Most of their whereabouts aren’t known

Sick and tired of people acting like Brown/Seal/Black Brown horses are seperate colours. They are all BAY, just at differing shades

@23skiddsy @lunarandsunny They’re getting more common since there are other white mutations (W22, W20, W7, W5, W2) that are appearing worldwide. We have quite a few lines in the US alone! W22 and W5 seem to be the most common (Art In Motion W22, American Iris W5, Patchen Beauty W2, Passionforfashion W7)

@luckkems @lunarandsunny The new W14 Japanese White throws some pinto-ish horses, too (Mable Cake below). I didn't mean to say they don't exist, more that they they're quite rare besides grey. I come from a QH/stock horse background, so "color" was common.

@23skiddsy @lunarandsunny There are many cream TBs in North America at least and many pinto TBs across many countries. There was a line of roan TBs but I believe that line doesn’t exist anymore (Eternal Idol, Silvery Moon, Lavender Fields, Starresha)

@lunarandsunny It only becomes a different color if there's another gene "on top". And besides Grey, basically none of them exist in TBs. (Buckskin, dun, champagne, roan, pearl, leopard complex, overo, tobiano, etc) Oguri Cap and Mejiro McQueen were bay-base greys.

@lunarandsunny His neck is a bit short compared to his body but I love his legs and hind end, I’ve noticed a lot of American TBs are insanely downhill. I really like his head, he’s just super cute. He’s a nice horse that definitely catches my eye

Inviting anyone into conformation to comment on Sunny, as I’m curious as to what catches others eye, positive or negative. I encourage you to be as honest as possible, no horse is built perfectly. I’ll put a video of him in motion below as well.

@lunarandsunny It’s actually insane 🥲 there are so many stallions that a million times nicer but nah, it’s gotta be those 2 bc of some lady

@luckkems I don't have anything against them at all, I'm actually quite fond of the breed, I just don't need another horse... He's got very animated movement from the pictures I've seen and he's a very beautiful liver chestnut

I guess I could put that cutback saddle I have to good use, but I honestly don't want that anywhere near a horse's back

@lunarandsunny It’s okay, Lucas will randomly pick a different jump to tweak out every week I jump him. Last time it was the second green jump, next time who knows.

The funniest thing is that he is … “judgemental”. (He’s scared of any horse that isn’t ’normal-looking.’ e.g, small ponies, paint horses, spotty horses… etc…)
