@isohelsgarden I played ult at a random new friend's place for the first time in forever with their friends that all play nothing but ult. I only lost the first game b/c my controls were set to L as grab (Rico set it to that on his tag and I was handed his controller). ult is boring and laggy.

@NotAklo (DI and SDI, CC, ect. and playing references to the melody or chords or other famous musicians/songs to reference is defense and obviously long punish game like playing the changes and kind of leading the other player. And you take turns leading like they do in the music example)

Greatest player to ever use a controller imo. And while I'd hate to take anything away from keyboard players, there is just something badass about using a controller to get the world record. Huge congrats.

After 7 years, I've finally done it. 4:54,365, I'm the first ever brazillian to have untied WR in any% of smb1, and it's way better than I ever expected to have it be. HOWEVER, the grind is not over. There are still 6 frames to be saved until I'm done. Stay tuned! :)

Sometimes I play against a Falco on unraked and I can instantly tell that they have either been playing the game for 20 years or for 2 months.
Those bad habits are either freshly formed or they have spent the last 2 decades optimizing the panic full hops thinking they are good..

@isohelsgarden I'll also say, you prob need to just do more camping and punishing bad approaches. most ppl in gold you can seriously dash through or dash back grab and if ur punish/reactions are good you can take them to at least high percent, especially falco. could def do vod analysis 4 u :)

@isohelsgarden also ppl are just better than before. I've been competing competently since 2018 and Slippi really made it way easier for everyone to get more practice. I've been diamond but usually choke or lag or insert gamer excuse why im not diamond or higher & usually settle around plat2
