@archive1435138 Maybe I've misread the post, but I don't remember and can't find the claim that they LACK a prefrontal cortex. I think you're in the wrong.

@luvre90 That is a sample size of 56 African Americans and yes, their claim was that they completely lack one. You can read the post yourself. Those differences are also volumetric and have to do with surface area rather than actual measurements of intelligence. The paper you're-

@archive1435138 Such findings are consistent; regardless of method. MRI, endocranial volume measurement, wet brain weight at autopsy, and even external head size measurement - all with similar results, all pointing to the same conclusion.

@sampavlovic @tmppbr The same is true for all of Eastern Europe....with the exception of Ukraine, for obvious reasons. Eastern European countries are beginning to catch up with the likes of Japan, and people still think they are on the level of LatAm lol x.com/luvre90/status…
Luvre90@luvre90

@tmppbr ....and why would he not be? A White country on a White continent vs. a mixed country on a mixed continent. And the same is true for the rest of LatAm. Eastern Europe is catching up and overtaking the likes of Japan, South Korea, etc. Never mind LatAm, those are long gone.

dudes bearish on Brazil but bullish on ROMANIA
Jason - macro / offshore / investing@MacroJason

🇷🇴 I might be the only guy on here bull posting about #Romania consistently. Quite stupid from content engagement POV as barely anyone cares about Romania - but can't help myself as genuinely feel this is a very unique opportunity (and where the majority of my portfolio is deployed). Last 12 months: - Romanian equity index $BET is up 79% - Bucharest real estate is up 24% (with very strong downside protection x.com/MacroJason/sta…) Median salaries went up 3x in Romania in the last 10 years. Thus from that perceptive - local equities and real estate is still undervalued. You're getting frontier Africa type returns with much much less risk. If you would like to remotely access Bucharest real estate or Romanian equities - feel free to reach out: flagventures.com/realestate

@BrilliantMaps Sweden went through a recession and a nasty currency crisis in the early 90s. The GDP dropped something like 5% from 90-93, as both the real estate and banking bubbles burst.

@HadronicusXXVI @SamoBurja @mmjukic He usually does post some based stuff about demographics, openly saying that economic success is, basically, 1/1 tied with demography, along with everything else. No idea why he chooses to not see that the same is true with Brazil

@SamoBurja @mmjukic You understand that this is due to demographics and that the US is on the way to become another Brazil, right?

It should make you mega-bearish on Brazil because despite all those advantages it has never mattered economically, technologically, or geopolitically and by all appearances never will, because that's how utterly awful their governance, politics, and institutions are.
Tommy Christie@tommyswriting

Holy shit, this is some truly expert level analysis Made me mega bullish on Brazil 🇧🇷 “Brazil is the only large democracy in the world that is simultaneously a food superpower, a water superpower, an energy superpower, a mineral superpower, and a carbon superpower, with export routes that do not depend on any contested strait or chokepoint”
