You have to be actually retarded to think that killing our enemy's entire leadership repeatedly, destroying two branches of their armed forces, deligitimizing the most important branch's claim to "guard" anything, ruining the ability to replace their exhausted missile supplies, and crippling their already teetering economy for years into the future for barely over a dozen casualties on our end is anything but an all time world history victory.

TO KEEP IT SIMPLE: Trump said: Open the Strait of Hormuz, or I’ll send Iran back to the Stone Age. Iran not only agreed to reopen it, but also accepted a temporary ceasefire after spending weeks refusing any truce & demanding the war end completely. Now they’re trying to sugarcoat everything & paint it in a nicer light for their people and supporters.That’s their business. The facts are straightforward: Trump demanded it, set a clear deadline with a serious threat & Iran folded. Simple as that!

Not sure who needs to hear this, but “ceasefire” doesn’t mean “war over”. With Trump, it probably means “let’s pause while we negotiate the terms of your surrender”, and if those terms aren’t met, don’t be shocked with the FAAFO campaign continues. Iran has no cards to play, and Trump knows this. Anyone who thinks Trump beat the dogshit out of the regime for weeks just to give them an off-ramp to get what they want hasn’t been paying attention to how Trump handles negotiations with tyrants.

The claim that Iran "won" is completely detached from reality, as is the claim that the U.S. "caved". Nothing has been agreed to. This is a temporary ceasefire that is highly unlikely to go anywhere. The U.S. will never agree to what Iran is demanding and Iran can never accept what the U.S. is demanding. There is no foreseeable way to actually end the conflict. The Gulf states must get involved militarily and join Israel and the U.S. if/when round 2 starts. If boots are needed on the ground to seize the buried uranium and Kharg Island, it cannot just be the U.S. that puts soldiers on the ground. Israel and the Gulf states must participate by sending in some of their own forces — even if it's for an entirely different mission.
