Emotional transferance should be taught mandatory in high school. Power differentials happen everywhere in all kinds of scenarios and most people dont recognize it as what it is in the moment. Teacher/ student is *classic* but it doesnt usually start as a predatory thing but then it becomes something someone gets used to falling back on and that's when they know better but keep doing it. The ethics component is so specific to the individual and what they are mentally and emotionally up against within themselves and that's not even bringing addiction into the picture yet. I feel bad that he has such an emptiness in his existence that he had to keep taking bites from the vulnerability buffet. I hope he is able to redeem his self worth and that the students can see what missing story piece they were trying to fulfill and not make it so personal.

Unfortunately there are unspoken rules and unknown rules that are typically in favor of the man. Men absolutely know that a majority of women do not know and will not ask the exact questions to get to the clarity they need to make an informed decision. Men will juggle plates to get as much optionality as they can as long as not all of the women find out at the same time. It's a loophole they have to avoid moral accountability for duping or playing a woman who is capable of trust and naiive enough to think he is considering her best interest without being committed. It's a fast-shrinking puddle though, and unfortunately the stalemate this will create does not help prevent a pod-baby birthing future for a massive chunk of reality timelines. Omission is manipulation and if a man feels insted by being interrogated after a reasonable amount of dating, remove yourself from the situation gracefully and don't close your heart over someone like that.

The best part though was getting used to that with CDs, so you were pleasantlu surprised when a CD actually had more than 2 good songs on it, so it stood out more. Such a bumner when the CD cost $21! That was half a shift in the mall food court! Or the person who bought the crap CD would reluctantly lend it out so friends could make cassette singles off the good songs...

@SydneyLWatson Uf! I've had one rupture, too. Took a ride in an ambulance to the ER for that one. They actually went to the morphine for that one, it was glorious. Wasn't insured at the time but I applied for charity care at the hospital and the visit was covered.

Seen a lot of conversation about how predatory the American medical system is. So I will weigh in. I ended up going to the ER about 2 weeks ago for crippling pain. Turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was there for MAYBE 4 hours. My bill? $13,500 dollars. Because I'm uninsured (by choice, that shit is a SCAM), the hospital dropped my bill down to $8,100 and some change as an "uninsured" discount. For starters, $13,500 for a 4 hour hospital visit is insane as it is. But the fact the hospital can wipe $5,000 off the bill "just because" should show you how utterly fucked this system is. And to be clear - $8,000 is still an absolutely insane sum of money when all these people did was scan my stomach and give me some pain killers. On my itemized bill, my CT scan was 7k. The iodine they used was $900. Just being in the ER room alone was $2,500. We phoned the hospital to haggle. They dropped the price by $20. Normal people can't survive this shit. I do okay and $8,000 is still an INSANE chunk of money out of my savings. Anyone who argues this isn't a disgusting, predatory system is crazy. And it is even crazier that Americans accept this. And for those of you who argue this is the free market, I need you to be quiet. There can never be a true free market here when government and insurance have their creepy little fingers in this pie. People shouldn't go bankrupt trying to pay medical bills. This has to change.

I didnt have a bullseye when I was bit at 12 right between the eyes in NH. I was actually >>>at a hospital<<< visiting my grandfather when I was itching my eyebrow and felt something, looked in the mirror on the wall and pulled a nymph off my unibrow. I told my Dad but he was like NBD. That started a health decline that took 20 years to diagnose and treat Chronic Lyme with erhlichia, bartonella and babesia.

This woman’s neighbors reported her yard. This is her front yard where she has all kinds of things growing in her gardens, or, they were growing we should say. The neighbors say her yard is unsightly and looks like junk. She says she has a beautiful garden when everything is growing. There is no HOA so any reports would have to go to the city. Unless you live out in the country, don’t most people grow their gardens in the backyard? What do you think? Leave her alone and let her have her gardens, it’s a free country? Or, if you were her neighbor, would you complain because she is making the neighborhood look trashy?
