@podoffame @bball_ref The problem now is that yes there’s incentive to play and make the 65 games but there’s also incentive not to. If a player knows he can’t make the 65 games, why push it especially on a losing team. Needs to be fixed.

I am sorry, but if you can’t play in at least 80% of the games, you probably don’t deserve to win regular season awards.
Only five NBA MVPs have gone to a player who played under 65 games.
Malone won in a 50-game strike season. LeBron during a 66-game strike season. Giannis during 72-game COVID season. Cousy during a 72-game season.
In NBA history, only Bill Walton would have been impacted by the 65-game rule.

The 65-game rule didn’t increase attendance like it was designed. Instead, it’s taken away deserved honors from some of the best players in the league.

Nothing says CONGRATULATIONS, You're in the @NCAADII tournament like your first round matchup being a rematch of your conference tournament. The coaches and student-athletes that work to get to the pinnacle of their sport deserve so much more. Budget, travel, missed class time. Excuse, Excuse, Excuse. Maybe the @NAIA shouting #TheRightWayToPlay from the rooftop needs to be careful modeled and adopted in championship discussions going forward.

Having a hard time processing this … they cut Taron and ate all that dead cap just to add another traditional nickel? I think most were expecting hybridization in the nickel role. I get he’s played some snaps outside so it’s depth there, but he’s not a boundary corner at all.

This right here is why the "Josh needs help" just isn't justified for this one, IMO. This is one of the worse misses you can have. This was the game-winner.

I’ll say this: the Bills lead the NFL in offensive holds, and I’ll leave it at that. That would be hard for me to understand — how a team coming into the game leading, and that’s how they play, didn’t have one yesterday. I’m sure Spo loves this being explained on national TV lol But it is really this simple They are clearing out the middle of the floor, allowing the initial handler to attack one-on-one in space, and constantly filling the gaps until somebody gets a paint touch Fun

@revonthemic @JA17MVP @StevieJohnson13 Totally agree with this and maybe I missed that point. If he’s not 100% healthy then of course let him recover. I’d like to think they wouldn’t clear their Rd 1 investment unless he was ready.

@marello15 @JA17MVP @StevieJohnson13 If he’s at risk of re-injuring his knee that may not be 100%, then yes he should be redshirted to ensure his safety. You have to protect your top investment. Unfortunately, when Strong went to IR that plan went out the window.
