@scope should have read out @Freedom_in_Arts toolkit for venues and organisations. While it is built for the arts world, it is highly applicable in this case. Stroud Brewery are lying when they told @BBCNews that "In this case, we made a decision based on our ability to manage the event within the overall context of the venue at that time." Stroud Brewery made it clear on FB that the decision was made after "reviewing the authors' views". They sucumbed to transactivist bullies. This was unlawful.

So having been compared to a holocaust denier by a local cllr (who was once a friend) Stroud Brewery and Taproom have cancelled the event organised by GlosWomen. @robjessel16 & I will be taking advice.
