VR46 @ducaticorse starter motors today had a spare fuse on them laying, ready to fit if needed. One would almost think someone raised the compression ratio of their engines ;-) @MotoGP @matoxley @GPMag_

@denkmit Made the jump to 🦋yesterday and so far is a much more enjoyable experience, even if the community is limited. I still come around here but probably limit scrolling to people I follow, it’s just not a nice place anymore.

If you’re leaving this place, I’m on a few other places. I don’t use them enough but keep hassling me and I might get into the routine of it!

🤔 "In the big book it would write...Jorge Martin, Ducati"~ Davide Tardozzi on the possibility of Jorge Martin taking the #1 plate to Aprilia next year. Fair enough. Except it's THIS book... .. because THAT is all anyone will see 😈

@motomatters We take that message with us to each of our races, obviously on the throttle side 💪💪💪. Our race finale this year produced an unexpected result.

Pecco Bagnaia trails Jorge Martin by 24 points going into the final #MotoGP weekend at Barcelona. The odds are stacked against Bagnaia, but as the late great Nicky Hayden said, "that's why we line up on Sunday, you never know what's going to happen." motomatters.com/analysis/2024/…

@max_vanoni To be honest mate, I don’t think the number 1 plate should go if the rider moves. Just personal opinion. I didn’t know it was possible until Bridewell took it with him in BSB

@BulldogBDX @Valheru19 In general I agree with that, I’m sure it was good and a proper pathway to biking, and could be again. But the CBT as is now has been exploited as a “ride around forever without having to take a test”. MCE went under mostly because of the payout they had to do to CBT riders.

Nonsense. It was the norm when I was getting started. People with no CBT or any training could get on a 250 and ride around on L plates no problem. The only difference between what happens now and what I'm proposing is that you're not on an underpowered 125 that can't get out of trouble with ease and not having to go bigger or keep repeating the CBT to keep riding a small capacity bike 😊

The more bikes like this the better. Now all we need is the L plates laws brought in line so folks who have no real interest in big bikes can go back to commuting & other everyday things on stuff like this.125s are just too weedy to spend a lifetime on. #poweredtwowheelers #thewayforward

@BulldogBDX @Valheru19 I’d go the opposite: CBT only valid for 6 months, and a lower, 2 years permit with a maximum of 50cc. The CBT as is means that people can go around forever with no real, meaningful training.

@Valheru19 25 - 30 hp should be fine on an L plate with a CBT with no time limit so if you've no inclination to go bigger you can just do your thing on a small bike👍

@stevo_lewis Exactly. No other team has done that. Certainly not Honda. Tech3 even left Yamaha (when Yamaha was good) because they were treated like shit. But people still going like “well Aprilia will run the #1 board next year” and SFW..
