Well given that I was absolutely shit at this kind of stuff when I was younger, I’m pretty damn chuffed with myself. If only they had provided training in high school for these simple (but not so simple) tasks - practical life skills that actually come in useful one day!!

Just been to @BuxtonOpHouse to see @paulkerryson Evita, fully cast with members of the community and an orchestra. It’s very rare I come out of the theatre these days, filled with wonderment, reminiscent of the very reason why I fell in love with theatre in the first place.

This was a truly magnificent discussion with brilliant people who really believe that the voices of male victims should be heard. A regional and national strategy for male victims of violence is vital, and I’m talking from personal experience as well as on behalf of young people

And I get that some will argue that referring to pupils as gifted and talented may make other pupils ‘feel’ inferior, but that’s where peer mentoring programmes and alternative vocational routes should come into play, making sure that ALL pupils can feel gifted and talented!

Today I learned from a young person that he’s been branded in school as having ‘Broader Depth’. WTAF. Can we no longer say that a child’s gifted and talented and make sure we nurture those gifts and talents, whilst also promoting positive peer role modelling? #education #WGCRZ

To receive the blessing of Jessie’s family was the biggest blessing of all. To personally receive acknowledgment and praise from HRH Prince William for my charitable work, I can’t quite process that yet! Young people are always at my heart and I’ll never stop championing them.
