@BTnewsroom Put a gun in those hands and ice will be dealt with the proper way. They shouldn't get away with just murdering people whenever they want. The rules of engagement are clear here. 🔫🔫🔫🧊🧊🧊
TODAY: Hundreds of thousands in Minnesota braved -10°F weather to march through downtown Minneapolis as part of the statewide general strike demanding ICE out of the Twin Cities.
KAROLINE LEAVITT: “It speaks volumes that tomorrow we have a communist coming to the White House because that’s who the Democrat Party elected as the mayor of the largest city in the country.”
@diaper_bagssss@YeahItsAhNo her defense didnt help her team be the top team in deefense. The lynx on the other hand were the top team behind her defense
Its clear most wnba content are either fans of players because of social media, or just chasing trendy topics. Its clear that there is a sever lack in knowledge of basketball from the loudest mouths on this app lol. Not understanding the difference in both gaurd positions and forward positions is comical. Judging players on pure point production as a measure of impact and skill. Hilarious. Posting ESPN stats (ie first to ever score 20, get 3 asts while taking a shit in history). Comparing a point guard to a forward. Praising impact players who arent impacting their team in a positive manner. Its ajoke out here #WNBA
For the first time in years, rookie guards are making a real splash. Paige Bueckers (18.8 pts) and Sonia Citron (15.0 pts) are the third rookie backcourt duo in the last 25 years both averaging 15-plus, and they’re doing it while leading a new surge of backcourt talent entering the league for years to come.
Bueckers already looks like a top guard in the league. She’s 4th among guards in scoring, 5th in assists, 1st in steals, shooting 46% from the field, and keeping a clean (2.57) assist-to-turnover ratio. That’s the profile of someone who could land All-WNBA votes as a rookie.
Citron has also been superb and reliable. She’s giving 15 a night, grabbing 4 rebounds, and chipping in on both ends. Since Brittney Sykes was traded, Citron has averaged nearly 19 a game over her last five contests.
And this momentum is only getting started. The 2026 draft could flood the league with even more backcourt talent—Azzi Fudd, Flau’jae Johnson, Olivia Miles, Ta’Niya Latson, Kiki Rice, Gianna Kneepkens.
Behind them, JuJu Watkins and Hannah Hidalgo are on track to be future superstars, each already pushing toward historic college scoring numbers. Vanderbilt’s Mikayla Blakes dropped multiple 50-point games as a freshman, and Tennessee’s Talaysia Cooper is showing she can play both ends at a high level.
The league hasn’t been this loaded with young guard talent in a long time, and it’s only getting deeper.
Without a point gaurd to enhance her natural scoring abilities, kelsey mitchell is showing the league why she has been unable to lead the fever to anything substantial in her time on the roster pre caitlin. The fever have players that can score but doesnt have anyone to set them up for shots. They will continue to lose and destroy the narrative that they are a better team without clark on the floor. Its nasty business anytime any team loses to a team like the Suns and so far without caitlin the fever look to be on their way to losing to them twice. #wnba
Fun fact: Klutch sports does not manage Caitlin Clark so it checks that she wouldnt make him any money through marketing deals lol. Rich is him in the sports agent world, but you guys have to know what youre talking about to get brownie points. the context of this post is null because they arent managing her.
@Scott_Adreon@HeavensFX You are incorrect. their feet land next to each other and the defenders 2nd foot lands on kelseys foot which causes her to fall backwards. Its clear as day
I would draw pictures but takes too much time. A flagrant foul is called when the foul can more than likely lead to the players injury. A flagrant 1 is unintentional while a flagrant 2 is more intentional. If i need to explain the injury risks of a defender landing on the shooters foot vs a shooter landing on a defenders foot I can break that down for you
@theo0210@mideontalks@HeavensFX He doesn't know the rules & neither do you. The rules don't state specifically that shooter's foot has to land on defender's foot to be a flagrant foul. Refs have discretion. A foul wasn't even called on Clark's shot! Can you at least agree a foul should have been called for her?
I never stated anything about the rules. However a flagrant would be when the defender is in the landing space of the shooter therefore the explanation of the call. Landing on the shooters foot is never a flagrant foul. Its adjacent to jumping into a 3pt shooter which we have seen plenty of times.
@mideontalks@HeavensFX The rules do not state specifically that the shooter's foot must land on the defender's foot in order for a flagrant foul to he called. The refs have discretion. Sophie committed a foul & probably a flagrant. But so did the other defenders in the other instances.
