A new Racing Reform Group has launched in NSW and is already pushing for major changes to the Hazzard Review, calling for the state’s funding model and Racing NSW’s relationship with government to be included in the terms of reference. The group includes Julia Ritchie, Arthur Mitchell, Jason Abrahams and other key industry figures. They argue the review cannot be complete if it ignores how money flows through the sport and who controls it. The petition has been lodged on the NSW Parliamentary website, with the group urging participants across the state to sign before submissions close on Monday.
