@opmsucker i feel like it all goes down to how when something becomes a trend it desensitizes people to it because they can see that a lot of people agree with them! so it becomes further perpetuated as a silly little trend and then embedded into people’s individual behaviors & into society

@mitliefde right like.. their insults r over the roof pa as if they're commenting to a robot who posted a video but no! theyre an actual person like jesus christ what's wrong with people 😭 the shift and changes of tiktok to the youth should be studied, getting a little bit out of hand

@opmsucker right! i once took interest in reading tiktok “discourse” through comments and it’s honestly woken me up to see the real effects of constantly consuming short form content. top that off with tiktok consumers’ dedication to herd mentality 😭 the future of critical thinking is over

@mitliefde oh, sweet, definitely not too woke bcos this is insanity.. i have argued with people online abt this too and it's like talking to a brick wall, i may have developed a migraine
