Went out on a date night. Came home and the four kids (6, 8, 9, and 11) used an iPhone to shoot a slasher movie and edited it on iMovie. It was kind of genius for 2 hours of work. Oldest is now writing a script for two sequels to shoot today and tomorrow. Will advise.

Well, this happened today. An agent whose MSWL seemed tailor-made for my manuscript passed, saying they weren’t the best fit for the project. At this point, I’m left wondering which one of us misunderstood the assignment. #amquerying #AmWriting

@SweetNovember48 Yes! I write quickly once I’m in the zone. I remember during the pandemic I did a whole treatment and feature screenplay in 3 months. The dev team was shocked. 😂 It’s just a matter of finding that groove.

@mkallen7 That is the best part of writing for me. Creating and getting to know your characters is so fun. I love starting a new project.

The fact that this was the first thing I saw when I’m trying to choose between a rewrite or shelf for a new idea… 😬
