The marches (so-called 'hate marches') are marches that are protests directed at a specific country in a specific place. If people call them 'hate marches' they're conflating the protests about that specific place with an alleged hate of a whole people or identified group.

@Itmustbetues @MichaelRosenYes @JustMariTine @TheGreenParty @ZackPolanski I feel pretty safe adopting the view of the government’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation who said that the marches are incubators of antisemitism. Sounds like a pretty solid justification to me.

Which other groups should be held collectively responsible for the actions of certain people? Should Jews be held responsible for the actions of… the Jewish State?

I do not of course literally think the policy of the Green Party is to put Jews in gas chambers. But I do think there is a real antisemitism risk if they are elected.

But if I said to you that Mr Smith and Mrs Jones were there and they were “useful idiots” that wouldn’t further the debate would it? It wouldn’t be the “evidence” you are looking for.
