Grok vs ChatGPT What is the greatest tragedy of the current era. ******************************************* ChatGPT: One of the greatest tragedies of the current era is the accelerating climate crisis—driven by fossil fuel dependence, deforestation, and unsustainable consumption—which is intensifying wildfires, floods, droughts, food insecurity, forced migration, and biodiversity collapse worldwide; beyond the environmental damage, it deepens inequality as vulnerable communities, who contribute least to emissions, bear the harshest consequences, while political polarization and short-term economic interests continue to delay coordinated global action, making the window for preventing irreversible harm increasingly narrow. ******************************************* Grok: The greatest tragedy of our current era is humanity's profound failure to seize its moment of unprecedented abundance and capability—eradicating extreme poverty for billions, decoding our biology to conquer disease, and unlocking energy frontiers that could propel us to the stars—only to remain mired in tribal division, bureaucratic stagnation, short-term distractions, and self-imposed ideological blinders that squander our species' potential while the cosmos awaits our curiosity. In an age where information flows freely and tools for truth-seeking have never been sharper, we choose echo chambers over enlightenment, comfort over courage, and performative outrage over genuine progress, condemning countless lives to unfulfilled promise and leaving the universe's mysteries largely untouched.

Has anyone else noticed mobile frontends (native and web) are getting increasingly terrible (as we descend into UX vibe coding?)? I keep noticing I've developed ridiculous coping strategies like constantly copying input to clipboard in case it gets lost when sending.

The Lord didn’t check who inside the house was worthy. He checked for blood on the doorposts. None of us is worthy. Only the blood of Jesus can cover us.

@Scivf4 Problem with this is torque. If the load becomes too big then it will either slip or the gears will touch, making the idea pointless. So this is only usefull for low power, high accuracy applications. Or am I missing something?

@GeorgeLampro20 Personally no, I like building things for myself. But I can see why you would build cash-grab apps. . . for the cash. The whole ship fast movement emphasized this, spot a new trend - build an app for it - ship and market to ride the trend - forget about it when the trend dies.

Why would you build an app that you are not passionate about? Like ik so many people who are building apps for cash grab purposes (Ex: looksmaxing/pure slop apps) Why not put your energy into building for an audience you are apart of? (Genuinely curious)
