This decision also killed the decentralization they talked so much about. They could have distributed a base reward of 950 tokens and made a huge number of users happy. If they had limited the maximum rewards to 30,000 tokens: • 728,408 eligible Total: 1,419,124 eligible If they set the threshold at 50,000 tokens: • 388,452 eligible Total: 1,079,168 eligible I don’t know why the team made this decision, but there is no mention here of the decentralization that the team talked so much about. Regarding the LayerZero sybil list: Thanks everyone for your feedback. It's something we have considered carefully. Ultimately we made the decision not to take the list into account for 2 reasons: 1. The LayerZero final list was never shared publicly. There are some available lists online but those are intermediary results before further review / appeal, so it is not fully accurate. 2. We still reviewed the intermediary list and the major portion of addresses that were not already in our blocklist did not exhibit clear patterns of sybil behavior. Even if there might be some sybils left out in this list, we want to prevent genuine users from being unfairly flagged.
