As for poetry? Some readers find sonnets to be repulsive, confessionals to be despicable, some don't believe in erasures, rhymed verse, prose poems, blank verse - and on. Form is only form. I want a poetry with no boundaries. Joseph Cornell: "Shadow boxes become poetic theater"




IMO, “erasure poetry” is not poetry in any way. And to destroy someone else’s writing—or, God forbid, poem—and then call the leftover words a new “poem” is pure philistinism. Fight me.
