When I say he changed I mean from 2016 Trump and campaign Trump to the Trump we see right now. I fell for the trap in 2016, and I’m not afraid to admit it. I watched as Democrats threw everything they had at him and I got pulled deeper into the trap because of it, I watched all the verifiable lies and smears from the democrats. I watched his first term be successfully stonewalled and I believed he was really fighting the machine and the machine was fighting back. I woke up by paying attention. So far in his second term no new wars turned into attempted war with Venezuela, and war with Iran, he brought people like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Mark Cuban into business partnerships and advisory roles. He handled the Epstein thing in the worst way possible and attacked any Republican who signed the Epstein files discharge petition while at the same time all but ignoring Democrats.He endorsed people like Lindsey Graham and attacked his base who questioned war monger Mark Lavin. The swamp isn’t draining, the outrageous spending isn’t stopping, prices aren’t coming down, and the economy isn’t getting better. After paying attention I realize he hasn’t changed. He’s still the same elitist Epstein class New York Democrat he was for decades before he claimed to be an America first republican, and the whole MAGA, and enemy of the left gimmick was nothing but theater.

Why do you think Trump is so different from just 2 years ago? I have my own suspicions but I would like to see what others are thinking.

Help me understand America. Why is it that liberal athletes are celebrated for speaking out politically, while conservative athletes are criticized for doing the same thing? When athletes supported Obama, they were praised by the media, corporations, sports leagues, and Hollywood. Nobody called it “dangerous” or “polarizing.” The same thing happened in 2016, when many athletes attended Hillary Clinton rallies, publicly supported her, and openly campaigned for her. But when conservative athletes express their opinions, they are told to stay quiet, while liberal athletes are applauded for doing the exact same thing. Americans can see the double standard.

This Jackson Dart / Abdul Carter conversation was always going to turn into something bigger than football the second politics got dragged into it. And that’s exactly the problem. We already live in an extremely divided political climate. That’s just reality. So when you’re trying to become the face of a franchise with a locker room full of different races, religions, cultures, and political beliefs, publicly inserting yourself into presidential politics is going to create reactions whether people want to admit it or not. That doesn’t mean Jackson Dart can’t have political beliefs. He absolutely can. But acting shocked that some teammates or fans may look at him sideways after publicly introducing Donald Trump is dishonest. This is a president who has repeatedly made inflammatory comments about immigrants, Muslim communities, Black countries, and minority groups. Whether people support Trump or hate him, those comments happened. They’re documented. So pretending politics magically stops at the locker room door is nonsense. And what’s making this discourse even worse is watching some sports analysts completely twist Abdul Carter’s comments into something they weren’t. A lot of these analysts let’s be real, mostly older white men who constantly frame everything through “Christian values” and patriotism — immediately rushed to paint Carter as angry, divisive, or anti-American simply because he didn’t sound enthusiastic about Trump. One commentator even implied that because Carter is Muslim he gets to “say whatever he wants.” That’s ridiculous. Abdul Carter didn’t declare war on America. He expressed discomfort and distance from a political figure that millions of Americans themselves dislike. That’s not radical. That’s reality. And this fake outrage campaign where people intentionally strip context out of Carter’s words while giving Dart endless benefit of the doubt is exactly why sports conversations keep becoming culture war bait. Athletes are allowed to support Trump. Athletes are also allowed to dislike Trump. Both things can exist. But if politics gets brought into the room publicly, don’t act surprised when politics follows you back into the room.

The left destroys everything. The Great American State Fair Concert was being held on the National Mall in DC. The organizing committee is non partisan. But as soon as the list of performers came out the left began attacking them relentlessly to the point they're all dropping out. This event had zero to do with President Trump it is literally part of the America 250 celebration. But lets face it they've become anti American. It says a lot that President Trump won the popular vote & electoral college yet these people still cave and in turn alienate all fans on the other side. They made it political by dropping out.
