@SwanBoatSteve @TDotResident Went there yesterday for the first time. 30 minute wait for the 191, and then 20 minutes on the 191 to reach York mills, where the bus stopped for 10 minutes. Especially frustrating considering they have removed 91 service to york mills and the 191 is way worse

(6) Don Valley Station is a horrible major transfer point. Thanks to OL construction, an important elevator is not working and won't be for ages. Also transfers to/from 25/925 Don Mills buses is on the street.

A few thoughts on riding Line 5: There is a lot of bunched service. Although there is no online tracking data for use by apps like @TransSee , you can see some of this in the "next train" times on the TTC's website. (1)

@TTChelps just now at don mills and york mills. 2 996 westbound busses did not stop, they both had ample room on the bus. And in fact they stopped on the other side of the street where there isn't even a stop

@TTCnotices So is this going to be another hour to fix or can we have any indication of how long this will be?

@TTChelps another day another bus not stopping because it sees a large crowd. Bus 1299, 995 york mills heading west bound had SPACE to let people board the bus and just drove right by the stop at sandover

@murphy1387 @TDotResident @fordnation I am told they are being printed and mailed out for our riding beginning tomorrow (Wednesday). Elections Ontario was delayed because they couldn’t confirm locations until they had signed leases for all polling stations, which was difficult due to the suddenness of this election.

It would make @fordnation’s day if there was a snowstorm on Election Day. Don’t risk missing your chance to vote. Beat the snow and vote during Advance Polls this Thursday to Saturday from 10AM-8PM at the locations below! #onpoli

@oliviachow everyday on my 95 york mills bus route, the busses just dont stop at the stops they are supposed to. Just now, a 95a number 1219 drove right by our stop that has 17 people waiting at it. Stopped about 15 feet away to let people off and continued on

@mattgurney This is confusing. If the Chief of Staff had clearance and PP didn't, the Chief of Staff wouldn't be able to tell him anything anyway. So how exactly would sending an "emissary" work?

I’m still processing this. It’s bonkers. It is simply not sustainable for the PM to take a position that PP is being irresponsible by not getting a security clearance but also that the guy with the security clearance sent as PP’s emissary to be briefed didn’t have a need to know.
Steven Chase@stevenchase

Poilievre's chief of staff Ian Todd has security clearance and has been briefed. Trudeau asked why in briefings Todd never told about Conservative parliamentarians at risk of being compromised by foreign interference. He suggests because Todd doesn't have a "need to know."

@TTChelps Yes, the 996/995/95 ALL were to full to let more than a handful of people on. And yes some busses wouldn't even stop to let anyone on.

@murphy1387 The tracker is not based on payment, it counts people entering and exiting vehicle. The 95 also services the stop as well. Our Service Planning Department does review all routes every 6 weeks and makes changes based on demand, route data and available resources ^JH

@TTChelps Bus 3543 route 996 stopped before the lights at sandover, let people off the bus. And then drove right past the stop without picking anyone up. About 25 people waiting at this stop(and growing)

@TTChelps Why consistently 30 people waiting to get on the bus then? From at least 8am to 815? So the tracker count students who don't have to pay? Because this line services multiple schools.

@murphy1387 According to the automated passenger counter on vehicle the buses are showing approximately 2/3 full so there should still be adequate space to board the bus bit.ly/3zk3OHj ^JH

@TTChelps Every bus is so packed it's a struggle to get on and that's *if* the bus even stops. This line clearly needs more busses/more consistent service

@murphy1387 If you would like to file a report you can call us at 416-393-3030 and one of our representatives can further assist. According to GPS there should be another bus that serviced the stop approximately 4 minutes ago and another bus approaching in 1-2 minutes ^JH

@hexagraeme Bunch of cops came, swept the northbound train. Wandered around a bit. Didn't seem like they caught anyone or encountered any kind of resistance. Then left and the trains started moving

@CatharineM90386 @TTCnotices 5-8 cops here one with large gun. So they believe the security incident was here. It's too dangerous for train service but not too dangerous to stop people from walking down to the subway platform, which has steadily filled with people

@CatharineM90386 @TTCnotices Except a train with people on it, came into york mills didn't stop and continued on to the next station. If the "security issue" is at york mills station they certainly didn't warn any of the people standing here OR the people on the northbound train that stopped here
