A fruitful meeting with the President and the Deputy Chief Registrar of the Special Criminal Court (SCC) of the Central African Republic (CAR), as well as the Resident Representative of UNDP. The SCC of the CAR has achieved remarkable results since its establishment, including contributing to the return of peace in the country. Today, it represents a successful model that several African countries would like to draw inspiration from. #MINUSCA, a key technical and financial partner of the SCC, welcomes the excellent collaboration with this court and its achievements, which more than ever must be strengthened and sustained by reinforcing and prioritizing national capacities. We renew our call to partners to maintain the necessary support for the proper functioning of the court so that it can complete the processing of ongoing cases. @UN_CAR @RcaUnct @cour_penale
